The one most in tune with the image market is FilmLoop LINK (one of our favorites actually). They offered software where users could create scrolling streaming wires of images. The issue they found, as so did we, is that folks don’t want to download a new player. Although many new companies are claiming that the “browser is dead” and that new web technologies will rely on new software (or shared software), adoption rates are still low.
