Google Invests in India

paidContent reports today that Google is investing in an India based seed-investment firm looking for home-bred early stage deals. Relatedly, last night Charlie Rose (while interviewing Robert Rubin the former Sec. of Treasury) mentioned that the big banks aren’t making their enormous gains from state-side ventures, but mostly from investments overseas (I’ll have to check the transcript for the exact quote).
