FOX Buys More Help
By jason - up to 2007 (archived) • Jan 30th, 2007 • Category: News for Creatives (archives)GigaOM reports Fox Interactive Media is in talk to purchase Strategic Data Corp., a company based in Santa Monica, California, that helps online publishers optimize their online advertising yields. This comes soon behind the report that News Corp (who owns Fox) has invested in ROO. Is it that Fox has gotten so big that the head doesn’t know what the tail is doing? Is it an apparent show of inefficiency at the media giant. We like to think that these large companies just aren’t able to be innovative, so they purchase purchase purchase, compulsively, hoping that either the head or the tail knows what they are doing.
