That Budweiser Ad Was Stolen? Imagine That…

The trickle down effect of feeling empowered to steal/borrow creative efforts has many faces. YouTube continues to allow the posting of copyrighted items and users will giddily watch them knowing it’s “wrong”, even if available. So, if we all continue to follow along what should we expect?

Marketing VOX reports that a comedy troupe who was in negotiations with Bud to create content is claiming that Bud ripped them off, and used their ideas for the “slapping” ad seen during the Superbowl.

It is devastating to think that big corporations and ad agencies would come in and just take that work and use it for their own purposes, without any compensation or, more importantly, credit to the creators…

Duh! It’s happening everyday!
