YouTube Gives User Info to FOX
By jason - up to 2007 (archived) • Feb 14th, 2007 • Category: News for Creatives (archives)Does this mean they are going to do the right thing and remove all the copyrighted material from their site? and protect both the criminals users who are posting this stuff from serious charges (as they allowed/enabled the infraction to happen) and the copyright holders (who don’t have the time/resources to scour YouTube to see IF their stuff is posted illegally)? No, but YouTube will point the finger at you and hand your info over the “authorities”. Nice work, and he got $600mil off the hard work of all those illegal postings. Call us harsh, but this ain’t right.
