Created by Hearst Magazines president Cathleen P. Black, the Tower Awards were distributed in categories such as Story of the Year, Cover of the Year and Innovation of the Year as well as a special President’s Award.
“With the Tower Awards event, we are celebrating the very best of what our editors produce and giving them a forum to be recognized by their peers,” said Black in a statement. “We are extremely proud of this year’s winners and will be displaying the prize winning submissions in the Tower for all Hearst employees to review.”
