BlackBook Co-Founder Marty Goldstein Dies

“Marty Goldstein, a graphic artist who co-founded the groundbreaking directory The Creative Black Book, bringing new strategies of marketing and self-promotion to professional photography, has died.
Goldstein died April 19 at home in Red Hook, N.Y., after a battle with lung cancer, according to his wife, Carol Lee. He was 68.
Friends recall Goldstein’s knack for getting artists to view their own work with fresh enthusiasm, and his skill at turning that enthusiasm into a sale. The book he co-founded made a national directory of professional photographers and artists available for the first time.” Read more here
