Polaroid Could End Instant Photo Technology Era

“Polaroid Corp., the company become famous for its instant cameras and photos, has decided to close factories within the United States and abroad and will get out of making film for its venerable instant-picture cameras by the end of the year.
Polaroid, which used to have more than 15,000 employees in Massachusetts has announced that it’s soon closing its Norwood and Waltham film-manufacturing facilities and later this year ceasing all film-making operations in Mexico and the Netherlands, the Boston Globe reported.”
