2 Series: Hiromasa S.; Insect Story, Night Doll
By Jason Moriber • Oct 8th, 2008 • Category: Eye CandyIn tandem with our interview of Lewis Van Arnam we’re posting these two short photo series from one of his artists, Hiromasa S., Insect Story, and Night Doll. As trends go, we always appreciate artists who veer towards the fine art, towards a personal vision versus seeking to make the “best commercial image, ever.” It’s nearly impossible to define what “good” is, its a slippery word, but we enjoy these images for their ability to give us a sense of place. Places we feel we’ve been, but are now made more clear even if the images are shadowy. Click here or on the image below to view the two series.
Hiromasa S. divides his time between Paris, New York and Tokyo. His
clients include A/R of Japan, an account which he both shoots and art
directs. These two stories exemplify his contribution to A/R.
