Rejuvenation is the key
By Jason Moriber • Dec 18th, 2008 • Category: IndianaCity is PhenomenalI’ve not yet been to Tulip Noir, a new breakfast/lunch restaurant on Indy’s north-side (near Ocean World on 86th & Ditch), but seeing it there amidst the strip of half-empty storefronts made my day. Rejuvenation is the key to building the local economy here in my beloved IndianaCity. Yes, chains have their place, but a locally owned and operated store, taking the chance right among Dunkin’ Donuts, Boston Market, and Starbucks deserves three cheers from their fellow Hoosiers. Buying local helps us all. So instead of grabbing that donut, switch speeds, and have a fresh-pressed cup of coffee and a scone and know where one new business blooms, more will follow.
